wow that sucks. I just packed all the electrical connectors on my Husky with dielectric grease, and plan to seal the back of the connectors with black RTV. salt is a bitch. good luck, I hope it doesn't turn into the $2k repair it sounds like.

    Um, yeah... your nuts lol.

That sucks though, but on the bright side once you change all that you hopefully won't have to deal with it again.

What actually happened? Just alot of corosion?

    *edit*
Oh and if you end up for whatever reason actually buying stuff new, look up www.ronayers.com
you need to make an account to order but they have huge discounts on oem stuff.

lot o corrosion fer sure, had a crack in my inner fender that allowed shit to get where it shouldn't even though I had taken all connectors apart and used dilectric grease, had electrical problems last spring, took all connections apart cleaned and reapplied dielectric grease, this winter, I replace the cracked inner fender, prolly shoulda done a wire harness at the same time, its gotta get stipped to that point again

online new oem sources don't come close to the relationship I have with my local dealer, Ron Ayers is 15% more than what I normally can get things for

not sure why you think I won't have to deal with it again, I don't plan on not riding in blizzards

I may get my SV on road instead, or buy a new bike, my Stom has officially become a "project"
