    Calling R6S Shift Light Experts

Okay it's a 2007 R6S. I believe I am the #3rd owner fwiw. So here's the scoop, in 2nd gear @ 12000rpm the shift light comes on, and the engine cuts momentarily as if it's on the rev limiter, if I stay on the throttle it will continue to accelerate. As far as I know this only happens in 2nd. 1,3,4 are vetted but getting to 12k in 5th & 6th is not advisable on the street Anyone have specific knowledge with this? My thought is to just shut it off altogether and see what shakes, however I don't want to miss the opportunity to diag an existing condition.

you can adjust when the shift light comes on... I can't explain why the bike would cut out though.

do you have a Power Commander, Graves ECU, or Bazzaz on there?
if it's consistently at the same RPM in every gear, it sounds like a possible map issue.

As far as I know it's all stock 'cept for a Yosh' slip on. And it only happens in 2nd @ 12k right when the shift light come on...
