    suggestions wtb motorcycle ramp

as most of you know I have Fitz's ambulance and i think its about time i start using it.
I am looking to buy some ramps to use for the track. I would like something that folds possibly and its spacious.
I was thinking something like that http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Super...8907670&sr=8-1 but it doesnt fold up and I dont thinnk its gonna work for transportation at the track.
I am open to suggestions. Obviously trying to keep it low cost but I want something thats not gonna snap and its gonna last me for a while.
    Thanks in advance for help/advice

I bought a pair off of eBay last May and they work just fine. Similar items to what I bought (stay away from anything under 7', as the angle will be steeper to get the bike into the truck):

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Erickson-Man...ht_2558wt_1413

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-FOLDING-AT...ht_2452wt_1413

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/80-FOLDING-S...ht_2473wt_1413

This is what I have now (I use them when I transport in the truck):

I have two arched folding aluminum ramps that I got from Lowes or Home Depot that work great. One for the bike and the other to walk up and down.

If you wanted really wide to ride up and down, I suppose you could get a third and clamp them together.

You get used to it. Try parking with the rear wheels in a lower spot, such as a drain. It lowers the back and and makes it easier to load.

My truck bed it close to a foot higher and 7.5' is plenty. I'd say you would be fine with a set of 7' ramps.

Do you have a Harbor Freight close by? They also sell ramps fairly cheap. Make sure to grab a 20% of coupon from online if you go.

Because the ambulance is lower just go with 2 of the harbor freight ones, one used for the bike one for you to walk next to the bike

I would buy the 2 that fold out so you can use them for almost anything and they are easy to tuck away...

HF near me in Natick has about 3 different ramps as I recall. They have the cheapest set that doesn't fold.. once in a while there's a special coupon for it. They have two other folding types. You could always just call them and ask what they have.. and if they are in stock.

Did you read the reviews on the HF site? Judging from the two reviews I would stay away from that set.

    Re: suggestions wtb motorcycle ramp

I bought a set of black widow knockoffs from ramp king on ebay. $130ish shipped for 2 9' folding. 3 seasons of use and they're still brand new. Yes, it takes a little getting used to, but it gets easy. Make sure you strap the ramps to the ambulance somewhere so they don't kick out on ya...
