#50 of 50 could mean something long term to the correct person. Price isn't ridiculous either.

Seems odd that the KTM letter calls out a 2008.5 model year. Seems fishy to me

Didn’t Aprilia make a 2008.5 Tuono or some odd year like that?

They've done that for other bikes too IIRC.

#5 of 50, back in 2021. I would’ve thought a clean one would go for much more.

Just a few 1st & 2nd gear pulls with old rubber had my pants tight and it does not like to be ridden below 20min. The Rotax power plant is just so nice and has torque for days.

Looking forward to get this back to some TTD spaghetti dinners this season as I dwindle out of racing. The spare wheel set was a huge plus for some slicks on one and street rubber on the other.

Any Aprilia junkies around? Looking to find resources for an evo6 full pipe, some OZ wheels and a lower intake plastic that the front directionals mount on to make this thing even more of a weapon.
Good looking bike. I have an 07 RSV Factory. Great brakes and suspension, and certainly more comfortable than a gsxr (but by no means ‘comfy’). The motor is perfect for a streetbike, entertaining but not overkill like modern I4 or V4 can be - take that with a grain of salt as I’m old and have lost some interest in the horsepower wars. I have Akro’s on mine, not stupid loud but they sound great. Hope you enjoy the Ape!

That white is akin to what the yellow anniversary scheme did for the R1.

Nice! after testing the Rotax twin on street and track, we all agreed that it is a sweetheart of a motor. You could lock it in 3rd gear and just have a blast. It's the first bike I ever rode where if you rolled on smoothly in first and just held the throttle open, the front wheel would eventually lift and just climb until you rolled out of it. no need to brap it hard or finesse it in any way. Just roll on wheelies.

I always kick myself for selling my 06 anni R1, and I’m always looking for a perfect low mileage one to pop up for sale. They still make my pants tight!

I miss it but only to look at. I'm not mature enough to own a sport bike.

I saw on IG that iconicmotorbikes.com should have an 06 anniversary, 09 red and white, and 16 anniversary r1 hitting their websites soon.

You’re a looking for another 06, I would love to snag a four digit $ 09 r1 in red and white!

I used to hate when people would say that like “what, you can’t control your right wrist?” And now riding my zx-9r has me feeling like a biiiiiiiig hypocrite! Hard to ride that bike responsibly!

I wish I did, but sold it in 2008. There is a small chance I could get another one soon if the stars align

I like the 06 the best, but I’d settle for a 16 in the anniversary colors.
I had an 09 in the red/white color combo, another great bike
