are you guys both in for sure?
price is $279 and they have 10 spots as of now
but man 8:15am start time...good DJ's don't come out until 1-2am :spit:
Adams is still available for open practice at 9am and 12pm on their calendar...I may just mount the 90/10 dual sport tires on the dirty rims and show up at a leisurely noon to do some laps, but mostly drink beer and shoot the shit
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
what is the $279 for? I think I'm more interested in showing up at Adams or similar and just laying some laps down.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
$279 is for the "SoCal Supermoto" class with the school - you get to use their drz's, taught where the line is, pictures, etc. - that is what I'm guessing Maxim-X was planning on
alternatively, since you and I live local and you have a bike to use (and I kinda of do too), we can just show up and pay the $45 or pay $100 for a membership and just lay a few laps down

^^This. I wanna do this.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
Okay, I will confirm the week of the 17th.
I called ahead and pricing went up since my day...$50 for open practice...$100 for membership.
I will likely not be fit for MX that day.
All east coasters are welcome...fly to Long Beach airport, Uber $12 to my place to crash/shower/shave. Street bike rentals are cheap on twistedroad.com and you can use a DRz for the SoCal super Moto day. Just bring 1 carryon with your street bike gear and clothes/underwear/toiletry for However long you want. Paul - I have 4 foam boards, but you can rent too. Iglu - tons of Pho places. Kurlon - come rule the mini’s. Bubba/Gino - go rent an africa twin; you can tour miles and miles of desert without needing a light dual sport. Oreo cabriolet - Alex n Jen await.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
brraaap @maxim @onecheek
still down for some laps Sunday at noon?
working next couple days...but will try to rip off the thrashed hanging license plate bracket on friday...deadmau5 comes on close to 1 lol
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
Ugh. I didn't schedule this in my calendar so I don't think I can make it this weekend. I still want to go. Maybe we can do a weekend where you're not raging at deadmau5 until the middle of the night?
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
Haha no prob...Maxim?
Also desert rides possibly 4/6, 4/20, and 5/4...get the WR and let’s go
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
I can do 4/6 and 5/4. Will be in SF 4/20. Just let me know what time and where!
I'm still on the stock dual sport tires in dirt form. Need to get something a lot more aggressive.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
Jeez guys, life is short... get out there and nail some apexes! With that price and proximity I'd be at the track minimum two weekends a month. I'm dying here... new FS450 sitting in the garage for the past month, and the local kart track opening originally this weekend had to push back an entire month due to March being the coldest month on record there, and they were unable to make track repairs needed.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
haha, if I had a proper dedicated supermoto toy, I would (and in the past I had two mini sumo's at one time LOL)
but right now I only have a dedicated dual sport, busa, and ninja 500. I work every other weekend, so the 1-2 times/month I get out, it's a desert ride off road since desert season is only november->april (otherwise it's too hot)...mid week days/nights are street rides/commutes on the busa.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
I went. It was a fun school. I had a good time.
Re: Supermoto Resurgence - SoCal Supermoto and Northeast Competition
right on!!
perfect weather this weekend too in riverside
