indeed... but if memory serves me corect, they tell you the amount of sag you need, not just spring settings.

Look into givin Peter Kates from GMD Computrack a ring. He does "clicker" settings for free (He's got a donation cup though, i think it's for the LRRS Injured Cornerworkers Fund, I could be wrong, but most people throw in 10 - 20 bucks)

    www.computrackboston.com

he's also a member of NESR and you can reach him in the suspension section where this post probably soulda been put in the first place

You're not gonna mess anything up by playing w/ clicker settings, as long as you keep track of where they are now & where you put em. Playing w/ em from there is more rider preference

The more you learn about your bike, the better of a rider
you will be. There are several places on the 'net that
    have suspension tuning techniques.

The problem with being a new rider is that you don't know
what is good and what is bad. So you got two choices:

    1. Get a book or DVD and play ...

    2. See a pro and let him set it up, document what he did and play

Either way, you are going to learn something.

So, what kind of bike do you have and what have you done to the suspenders?

His name is actually Peter, and from what I hear, he's quite good.
