where do I get suzuki parts?

hey, anybody know good places to get oem suzuki parts? I'm looking to replace the clutch, but I'm kinda striking out online (except for bikebandit, but that's a little iffy, kinda guesing the part #s...) should I just look for a local dealer? You guys have any preferences? Thanks

where do I get suzuki parts?

What about getting the part number from a dealer, then looking online or elsewhere to see if you can find it. There's probably a bazillion places to check: Dennis Crook; Parts Unlimited; Street & Comp are the typical places that come to mind...

Ron Ayers Motorsports has great prices and excellent service. I use them all the time. Give them a call, I'm sure they'll know what parts to get. Check out their prices on stock bodywork if you need any. Hard to beat.

If you use Ron, ask for Chip and tell him he's popular in New Hampshire, and you want the "family discount".

Actually, I just got off the phone with him, 02 mirrors for me.

He said his people were scrounging for good prices for ya' Matt.

    Moto parts

Ron Ayers is the wqay to go Matt. If you try going through suzuki direct, you will pay through the nose.

Cycle-parts.com or cycleparts.com (I think the 1st is least expensive). Get the OEM part number, run it into their form and voila! a price pops up. ronayers.com has got some good deals on tires right now with only an $8 per tire shipping charge.

Sorry it took me so long...

...but I have a price for your Suzuki clutch parts Matt. Are you sitting down??

    7 Steel plates, P/N 21451-17E00 $47.96
    8 Fiber plates, P/N 21441-17E21 $145.68
    Throwout bearing, P/N 09263-15003 $5.59

    Discount $49.70

    Subtotal $198.73
    Tax $9.94

    Quote total $208.67

That is for genuine Suzuki parts, which my friend at the dealership highly recommended for that bike.

Go OEM. Degs has the right idea. Measure your springs and replace if necessary also.

where do I get suzuki parts?

Thanks guys. I went thru Ron Ayers, and all together (clutch parts plus a couple bearings/oilseals/gaskets/rear stand/service manual) it all came out to about $300, which, honestly, isn't bad. Now I just gotta see if I can get the bike into the basement so I don't have to do the work in the way-too-cold garage...

No, that is a fantastic deal. Rear stand too? Nice. Remember to soak the new friction plates and steels in oil and replace them the same way they came out. Re-torque the nuts on the springs down to spec.
