Almost all SV owners have had this itch, some have spent the money to scratch it effectively, and the smart ones *also* kept the SV.

After "upgrading" to a liter bike I have still have seller's remorse. Even after the the cost of the upgrades, my 2006 SV was way better bang for the buck... I only go faster on the straights and up hills and I'm still slow in the corners.

First SV was in 2006 (a 2003), second was in 2011 (2006). Still have both, still love both as other bikes come and go.

Pending dire financial reasons or space, they just aren't even worth getting rid of. Great bikes for the money.

I’m in the same page. My 05 has 40k+ miles and not worth much but nearly impossible to replace its capabilities for the short cash I am invested into it.

It looks like I’ll be in the market for a used shock and a small wind screen (It is a naked) and keeping it until the frame brakes or I pull an accidental “having a kid need to sell” scenario.

I sold my sv race bike for an Italian 1000. I am not that upset. I loved my sv and it served me well, this new bike feels better in every way stock compared to my supersport legal sv ever did.

And i dont know why this pic is upside down.
