Hello...I posted this to the SVRider.com board but thought I could get some good advice here.

I was planning to install SM Type I bars on my SV650, a very popular mod for this bike:

After doing some research, I found similar bars made by a Sweedish company called Raask...except they're adjustable.

I can get them from US shop for $142 + shipped (http://www.rearsets.info/sw3.html) which is cheaper than the SM bars by about $30 after shipping

I like the idea of being able to adjust the bars, but am concerned that I will not be able to clear the fork preload adjusters. The SM bars do not have this problem.

The measurements of the bar are 9.25" for center section and 11" for the grips.

I am using my bike for street/highway riding but did my 1st track day this month and hope to return next year.

Thoughts or comments...? Thanks
