I do believe that is also a repost, but it could have been from the central ma tag-o-rama.

Personally, I don't see a problem w reposts as long as it wasn't too recent. Who has time to look through all 45 pages?

I suggested that each tagger put the address and description with each tag so you could search the thread to see if it was a repost.

The response from Manny, who started this game was that "we're not that serious." So if that is indeed the case, well, it's only a repost for one, really. There's no way to do a text search for an image.

But it also looses sight of why the Advrider game was started and how it is played. The idea was to pick tags that were in good riding areas, and when possible, to have some historical or other area interest, like a good but obscure diner.

The problem with the Advrider game is that it's been so active so long there aren't many untagged areas left, other than extreme SW MA and some of the South Shore and Cape. Their tag is currently the tower in Provincetown.

Well, that was fun! 17 traffic lights from Route 9 to the tag. 21 from the tag to Route 90. Had to drive over the curb to stop so I wouldn't get run over. Two dudes asked me for change. Had to ride a few blocks to get reception around the tall buildings.

The Burnside Fountain on Worcester Common. I was interested in this initially because I thought the Burnside family might have been that of General Ambrose Burnside, variously the inventor of the side burn, the first President of the NRA, and one of the least effective Union generals of the Civil War. But like everything else about this tag, that was a let down: it was a memorial to a Worcester Attorney, and is no longer even a fountain.

OK. Here's the new tag. Like the last one, it's not a very fun tag because the riding to it is poor and there's no real historic or culinary interest. But it is an area that not many people ever get to or even knew existed. It's slightly better than the last tag in that you only hit 4-5 traffic lights from the most common access point. If you find Acadian Freedom, you're there.

Caution: there is not a lot of traffic most times of the day or night, but I recommend standing on the sidewalk on the far side to take a picture. That's where this was taken from.

Forgive me for being in a poor mood after grabbing the Worcester one. I had every intention of bringing it to Halibut State Park in Gloucester, but that was well over 50 miles.

This tag is no worse than most others posted here, is an area that many will find fascinating if they like boats, water, and views of the city. It is a four minute detour for anyone entering the city from the North. You can find it visually, on a map, or Google street view. BTW I found this tag from an advrider tag and no one complained about that one.

But since you have such a harden over every one of my posts, I'll make you an offer. Go grab this tag yourself, and if you believe it violates the spirit of this game in any way, I'll never post in it again. Fair enough? I submit we should both focus on making this a more fun game, instead of wrangling.

Jesus guy. Very simple solution...if you don't like the tag then don't search for it. Riding to a tag then bitching about it really doesn't make this much fun for others.

Let me clarify for you. I found this spot when I grabbed a nearby advrider tag a few weeks ago: but they're different.

The tags I've posted are unique to this game as far as I know.
