    Test drove an RSV4 RR

I've been yearning for a liter bike again and looking for something different. I love the new electronics all of them have now. Pretty trick. This bike is awesome. I rode it in track power mode if I'm not mistaken. I think it goes street-track-race for power modes. It was smoother than my 750 going into 1st gear. Track mode eases the power down low but you still get full power when you open it up. It's been around 8 years since I rode a liter bike so power was intimidating but I could get use to it. I'd trade in my 750 if I go for it. I'm on the fence because this 750 is probably the perfect track weapon and plenty fast for street riding. I just miss the liter bike umph! Anyone here have one or rode one?

Yep thought of that too. I actually have a 520 conversion with a -2 front and I think -1 out back set up sitting in a box still lol. Currently just a -1 up front. That v4 engine just stirs the motorcyclist in me. What an awesome growl it has!

Add a taylormade or toce exhaust to the gixxer

    - - - Updated - - -

    And termis to your monster
Then u should have a sufficient moto soundtrack.

Got full termi system on the monster. A part of riding is liking the sound of the machine. Inline 4's are great but something different is needed at this time of my life. Gixxers I've used Yoshmira pretty much. 2 brothers once. Oh but that v4...even stock was so good.

I love them. I couldn’t subject myself to riding it on the street though, total cock tease.

It is a shit load of power indeed. It's the few times you may use it even if it's for a few seconds is great!

I went with the Tuono. I would love an RSV4 but not sure it would be good for street riding for me. Same beautiful V4 though.

Nice! What year is it? I think new for the 2018’s the lean angle adjusts the intrusion of the electronics. Funny how I’m unsure of the info of the bike but I COULDNT GIVE A FUCK I WANT ONE.

    2018

This brings street sport bike riding to a whole new level .

Never felt safer on a bike , one would really need to do some dumb crap, to dump it .

Test rode a Tuono v4 last year. Great sport tourer overall, even for the $, but that motor was supernatural. Too tempting to engage warp drive on the street.

Yeah right. The RF you have is just forged wheels and Ohlins I think is the difference. What a bike it is! If I were to pull the trigger I'd be thinking if $6k extra for it would be worth it.

John, from Razee? If so, I was pitted 2 spots away from him at the trackday. He liked the bike and looked comfortable on it. He left after lunch on Friday though, I think he had an electrical issue with it that he was concerned about.

Aprilia, like most European bikes are a bit quirky. If you can accept the fact that you will have some minor issues with it from time to time, you’ll like owning one. When they work, it’s a pretty amazing bike! Just understand it is not going to be a gas and go bike like your gixxer.

I have a 2016 Tuono Factory 1100 and I’m pretty happy with it. It doesn’t have the updated electronics that the ‘17 and ‘18s have, but impressive none the less

Love me some V4. I'm too old for race ergos so I have one that"s a bit more relaxed.

If you can afford it go for it. Life is short
