Motorcycle General Laws (side markers)

Can anyone hook me up with specific sections of the MA vehicle laws that deal with motorcycle equipment?

I'm looking for ones that deal with side markers as I'm looking to replace the huge stock side markers.

Do short stalk markers comply? I was looking to get the LP Short Stalk V.

In MA it is illegal to replace any OEM Safety equipment with aftermarket that is not OEM style. That being said you should have no problem with shortstalks from the police as long as they work. I know tons of people who have used them and never been hassled for it.

The RMV will sell you a book with the inspection guidlines for about $8. Or, you can check this:
