Thursdays, Mircle of Science, Central Sq?

Everything thursday night a 7-15 bike pack decedends on the Mircle of Science in Central Sq. (around corner from my house) They obviouslly plan a weekly ride from somewhere to the resturant / bar. I've seen them show-up weekly for like the last 2- 3 years. Anyone ever ridden with them or know where they ride from?

Perhaps I should just *ask* one of them sometime

Hmm...I did once. It went from central sq, down mass ave, boylston st, past boston common, up newbury st, comm ave to lansdowne, and then storrow to the faneuil hall area, then park and wait until people stumble out of bars/clubs.


Nah, j/k...I don't know. I have seen packs of around 10-15 bikes roll down comm ave, but I'm not sure it's the same group.

well, considering how many squids chill on Newbury, common sense and probability would lend one to think that the chance of it being the same group is slim to none. (not to even mentione the vast number of other riders in the city)

This is the ride that goes from motomarket in Acton, they are a bunch of nice guys and motomarket is a great place to try on things to find out your size and then shop on line and save 50% off the prices there!!!

There are tons of twisties behind motomarket, and the ride in is usually pretty fun, usually 3 groups....fast, medium and slow.

Yah that's the motomarket crew.

I would challenge you to find most of their stuff online at 50% of the price.

They don't really carry the mainstream inexpensive gear. Of the top of my head I know you can get Held gloves online and maybe Daytona boots but not all that much of the other stuff.

You mean to tell me there is a real place I can go to try stuff on before I buy it? I though my only option was to get it of the interweb and hope it fit me right off so I wouldn't have to ship it back for an exchange.

This Motor Market thing, do they have bikes there too or is it just a clothing store?

The group that rides into boston, do they all work there or somthing? Or is this a place where motorcycle riders can get together randomly to go for rides with each other and learn new roads and meet new people?

I live out in the middle of nowhere, we don't have any fancy places like that out here. I get all my bike parts from the local tractor supply , wood burning stove ,and animal feed warehouse.
We don't even have any good roads to ride on out here. I have to travel east toward Boston to get any good lean angle. I just do laps around rotarys and use the clover leaf on highways to get my cornering fix. Its a small price to pay to be close to the animlas
