7R's gotta gas gauge? Nice. My 9R has a complicated system that suddenly leans out the fuel air mixture in a very drastic manner letting me know the time for a fill up has passed. Fool proof really, but a gauge would be nicer and involve less walking.

The ZX6E has a gas gauge...'course it weighed nearly 500 lbs wet too. I bet at least 50 pounds was the gauge and sending unit. I'm glad they removed it on the 6R.

I'm told the 10R has done away with gauges alltogether, and communicates with the rider via a series of mild electrical shocks. Now that's progress.

You might be confusing "progress" with your therapy...

Maybe what you need isn't colored gauges.

Maybe you just need a watch

The one time I went down, we all posed next to our bikes eating ice cream for like two hours, and by the time we left you were just getting done riding. Don't you know what bike night is about?

Cool mang. I've thought about getting the inverted ones for my bike. The full ones seem a bit bright eh?

It's not actually running lean, but as the temperature in the combustion chamber increases, the engine is likely to preignite, causing the same symptoms as a lean condition. The reason you are seeing the needle falling as the engine heats up is because the Japanese read right to left.

    Duh
