Well I got home from work anxious to go for a ride but when I asked the poor girl if she wanted to go out she just puttered for a bit and died. (Battery) I could have jumped her back to life, but decided it was a sign she was ready to sleep for the winter, plus the rear tire is bald down the middle.
So for the first time in two years I am accually going to winterize the bike and put her away. I will be putting it somewhere I can work on her over the winter. I have a few more mods in mind and want to give her a seriously detailed cleaning like R7 does to his bikes after every ride! Might even bring her to the dealership for some maintenance tuning and such..
First things on the list to purchase:
Battery
Tires Mich Pilot Powers
Frame slider kit
Clip ons
Rear sets
New undertail with built in turn signals !
Rear Sato Foot pegs Maybe? I still may buy a new second bike instead?? I reallt do not think a passenger would like riding on the back of this thing... Good excuse to buy a 600RR for a track toy/ 2 up bike!!!
Rear hugger
Bar end Mirror
Things to do:
Remove stock mirrors / replace with custom plates already made!
Install frame sliders and cut Fairings (Both sets)
Buy 2nd gas tank and paint all my Track plastics. (Design in though process)
Buy a DVD-Camcorder, camera mounts for front and rear, rear video/moniter set up instead of mirrors, install pen cam in air induction port.
Relocate licence plate to accomidate rear video camera. ( May not need to?)
Install one bar end mirror to the left bar. Just for extra vision/ looks/inspection purposes...
Wow I guess that is a lot now that I think about it... I better get moving!
