Leather and try it on first. As you know every company fits differently but, furthermore, textiles fit different from leather. I feel so much better having a leather jacket now (this is my first one) compared to the textile. I also have to agree with Randy about Joe Crapit. I will never own another one of their jackets again. I do still need to treat my jacket though - need to waterproof it but I'm broke so it's on the back burner.
