(Yes, I know some larger tourers come with speakers, but for some reason this just struck me as especially obnoxious.)

How people accessorize thier Harley is amusing. Chrome, obnoxious audio, neons, loud pipes, and heavy oversized wheels. All they are missing is a big ass wing on the back and they'll be ready for the next Fast & Furious movie.

I guess you could say the same thing for the stretched busa's, but I don't see them nearly as often.

Again, Lowell. I swear they get one of each there. Last time I went I tailed a kid on a Chinese scooter with a MASSIVE fart cannon to Chinese after strolling through a pack of nicely restored 70's UJMs listening to some jackass blaring rap from the sound system installed in his CBR. Earlier in the night I was ogling a completely custom (like, no shit really custom) chopper when Not Sure rolled in on a dual-sport. One of each.

Although I will fully admit that I have not seen speakers installed in PVC wrapped around the engine like that.

    Maybe next season.

Last year I did a charity ride with about 75 H-Ds, one Triumph ST, and two Ninjas. I ended up in the first third of the pack next to a fellow on a custom H-D chopper with straight pipes and a blaring stereo. I tried to stagger with him, but he kept passing me and then falling back over and over--loud music...loud exhaust...loud music...loud exhaust.

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

    Got my project already, thanks.

That and I wouldn't want to pretty up the V-Strom with PVC like that.

If your bike is no fun to ride, might as well have some tunes. And nobody called out the stunning chrome helmet???
