Yeah good to see these large head to head tests.
Power 2CTs seem to rate very highly.

    Re: tire advice

I have been using Conti Sport Attack recently. They are a bit cheaper than the Michelin Pilot Power I was using. The carcass isn't as stiff but they felt good running a couple PSI higher than what I was running in the Pilot Powers.

Nice feedback when they start to slide which is very confidence inspiring. I've set my personal best lap on the Conti's. But I'm not fast anyway. I'm fat, slow, ugly... and whatever else they said about TLR's in the other thread.

    Re: tire advice

I need new tires to. I've not ridden on Pirelli since the days of the dragons, but they rocked.

Since then I was a pilot power guy...till I tried them there Bridgestone BT-002's.
They don't last all that long, but they stuck a gixxer 1000 to the ground better than the pilot powers ever did on a gixxer 750 (2001 model, 30-40 less hp than the 1k dynoed on a crappy day)

The 002's are 96% slick, everyone told me not to ride in the rain with them. Well we got caught in the rain, so I decided to mess around some. I left it in A mode and whacked it open numerous times while riding in heavy rain. Only once did it break lose...the other times, it accelerated hard, lifted the front, etc.

I'd not try to ford a river with them, but even with heavy water running across the road it never hydroplaned.

The powers on my older 750...oh boy. I hydroplaned that bike twice, both times however were areas with large amounts of water running across the road.

Really though, there's a pile of excellent tires on the market. Try a set out this season and a different set later, or stick with what you like.

Curious though, what would a set of Corsa III's cost? 120-70fr and 190-55 rear?
