I've always been a huge fan of the Speed Triple, and having what is basically a naked Daytona 675 seems like a sweet deal.

    Triumph - Street Triple

This may very well be my next bike...

We prefer sewing machine, or vehicle from the "jetsons" cartoon.

You obviously didn't get a good listen at about 7k rpm or above

Street Triple is a naked 675, a little detuned, with cheaper suspension and brakes. Looks like a great little street fighter. From the sounds of it, the bike will be about $1k cheaper then the 675.

Apparently an arrow aftermarket pipe and "chin" fairing already too

People have all sorts of issues with triumphs, BUT I have NEVER heard anyone say they sound bad. I guess there is a first for everything...

i'm a big fan of the new 1050...but without the beefy motor, nice front-end, and single-sided swinger, i really don't think i would buy it. All of which the smaller sister lacks.

That's funny, last time i heard one as I was perched on top of it flyin down the front straight at NHIS it sounded like a friggin screaming banchee The motor, exhaust & especially the intake sounded phenominal

As much as I love the 675 & wanted to see it w/ its clothes off, I just dont like what they did w/ it

Bwahahahaha... I've heard a lot of things on this message board but this is by far the most entertaining.

The comment coming from someone who rides a CBR 600 F3 is just icing on the cake.

I'm gonna have to third the "doesn't sound good comment". I've yet to hear anyone complain about the sound of a Triumph triple. NESR never ceases to amaze me.

I think it sounds like a Ferrari and a sport bike rolled into one. I love it...

I like it, but it seems overpriced. Lack of fairings, radial brakes, and lower quality suspension should have more of a price drop than 1k from the D675.

Oh it is such a sweet sounding bike when you start to get above 7k or so. That in intake growl.. I know there is always debate on break in, but once I heard that noise it was painful to be nice to her

I think he meant the bike at idle. All the triples have a "funny" chirp to them. But I like that too
