there is no shortage of fans.... just look at last season's Austin MotoGP...

some of the best AMA racing has been over the last couple of years.... but it takes a lot more than a good product to recover from years of neglect.

Daytona was dead as far as fans went last year for the road racing. Grids are so much smaller than years past as well. The flat track was just about sold out - but of course its a much smaller venue. I think its a shame as it was a blast. I even enjoyed watching practice/qual on Thursday.
