what is your type of riding gear?

Leisure rides or track - 1-piece suit, back protector, boots, gloves and lid.

Commuting or running a quick errand - Leather jacket, back protector, boots, gloves and lid. Wish I had a 'Stich for commuting, maybe next year.

Learned the hard way about a year ago to wear my damn boots, even for a 5 mile slow ride to run an errand. First time down in 6 years for riding, luckily wasn't more injured and learned a valuable gear lesson.

I never leave the house without a back protector either. I've seen enough crashes where it has helped save further trauma.

what is your type of riding gear?

Before I moved up here I was a total squid.

    Shorts, t-shirt, sneakers.

Now that I'm up here... I'm trying to get better about gear.

Now I have my helmet, leather jacket and riding boots.

I'm trying to get used to gloves too.

Now I just need to get a good pair of riding pants.

what is your type of riding gear?

JR Alter Ego Jacket, Ballistic pants
    A* GPS Waterproof boots
    Olympia gauntlet gloves

I do jeans when cruising but really don't like to.

How are the armored Draggin jeans in a crash?

From the squid POV, I can say it wasn't confidence inspiring to break 100 on my way to the office while wearing chinos!

I was thinking of a 1 piece Aerostich suit for work/commute. Or maybe I'll wear it on my late night Thayer Street food/pose runs. A blaze orange one would go well with my "beginner's cruiser".

what is your type of riding gear?

For the street usually I'm wearing a leather jacket, Vanson gloves, A* boots, and jeans. If I'm going on a serious street ride, I'll wear a full tex suit.... but if I'm going to the track I'll wear the new Vanson custom 1-piece that I just recieved word that it's done, just gotta go pick 'er up!

Currently: Leather jacket, leather pants, textile one piece, deerskin zcustom gloves, teknic violator gloves, teknic suit, gaerne boots, draggin jeans, A* back protector. I love them all dearly, each is appropriate for different situations.

Hopefully with the addition of a pair of a* supertech boots in a few hours if I win the auction, not a big fan of the gaerne boots on the track, they're a bit sloppy and prevent me from getting my toes up on the pegs like I'd like to.
