There was a newer version up at the Monster unveiling Friday night, I almost knocked it over in the club......too much alcohol ...I fucking love these bikes. When my back gives out and I let the 1098 go it'll be either this bike or a new Monster that goes into the stable...and no, the seating on these isn't as agressive as the 1098...I checked.

I have a friend that has two Vincent black shadows. One bone stock and unrestored, one with period bob job mods. 1952 of course. They are gorgeous... The motor and pipe is definitely one of the best designs ever.

I've seen the new ones, they are nice for a naked bike. My back is already screwed up. The funny part is that my back feels better on a sports bike than a cruiser. My ass on the other hand....I really need to get a Corbin or Sargent seat soon.

True, but have you ridden a 1098 longer than 30 minutes??? Holy christ are they un-fucking-comfortable, but once again, no one seems to mind because there's a grin from ear to ear under the helmet from that sweet sounding exhaust..
