It should say "Flat" not "fiat".

    Crazy shit

I do believe Lorenzo's telling Sir Isaac Newton to kiss his ass. I like the F.C. Barca kit he was wearing for that race too...good man.

    Re: unreal lean angles!

yes it is quite a bit of lean angle but that pic is also deceiving. the turn has positive camber and the curbing is raised up kind of cambered the other way. gives the illusion that the rider is closer to the ground than he actually is.

you wanna see sick lean angle check this one out http://www.davedragon.org/pink/lean-Angle.jpg

Go to www.owensracingphotos.com and search 19. Doug Henry, turn 9. Downhill corner, he's almost dragging frame/fork leg/knee (and he's riding MX style, leg out).

Pretty sure most of us figured that one out, but thanks for being a spoil-sport...

That's at the same track, too (Catalunya). Normally when a bike hits the axle sliders, it 'Poseidons' and slides off the road wheels-up. But not SM riders...freaks of nature.

    Re: unreal lean angles!

Yup, that's the one. He did a lot of shit that weekend that made me ask "how the FUCK did he just do that?" The only answer I got was "It's Doug Henry. That's how." He was incredible to watch in the dirt, and he was a lot of fun to watch at Loudon. I've been that far down before, but I kept on going.......onto the ground, that is.

Doug Henry is the man. That race against Jeff Wood back in 2006 was one of the sickest races I've ever seen.

I agree I got passed by both of them going into 3 and had the pleasure of watching them go through 3 and up the hill. It was fucking amazing watching Henry drag shit all over the track. Fucking spark show.

It looks like his left leg isn't even gripping the tank from that angle. Wow.
