Love that video. I wish moto gymkhana would take-off in the US.

I'd like to see the rider do that course with clip-ons.

    Re: Unreal Motorcycle Control

I'll bet the same rider can do the same type of performance on any sportbiek as long it has the same handlebars as he has on that Honda. Much more of a challenge with clips, as stated above, but I think a rider like that can do pretty much THAT on any given bike, all other things being equal.

This may be a dumb question, but what difference would clip-ons make?

Interesting that at no time does he move his butt on the seat.
From watching a few other vids of "Moto Gymkhana" online, it seems no one ever slides their butt off their seat. Why is this, anyone know, theories?

Could you clarify? I've only been riding for a couple of years and I've never owned a bike with clipons so I'm in the dark about it's benefits

    This is a clip on

    This is a handle bar

See how the clip on in this picture is low profile and has a reduced clearance to the tank as compared to a handle bar that would be higher?

    Re: Unreal Motorcycle Control

That makes sense. I was overthinking it. I was thinking it would give a more aggressive lean, which could allow more bodyweight to be...etc, etc, etc.

    Ockham's razor

Also realize you have a smile named after you... hrm

do sportbikes have clipons to allow a more aerodynamic tuck and such? Sorry for all the questions, but couldnt find any good answer from google

One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
