The leaf peepers are here, be careful on the roads in Vermont. I got out of my development and was about 1/2 mile from my house. Cruising along in traffic at about 30, going past a side road and this woman pulls right out in front of me to make a left turn. I got on the brakes and was able to just miss catching her in the quarter panel. Luckily the car behind me cut to the right and didn't slam into me. The woman just kept driving like nothing happened...
The leaves are also in the road in some of the passes - be careful out there...

For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction - and sometimes a scar...

I was just in the Stowe / Hyde Park area this weekend. There was A LOT of people out and about. I was in my cage thoughI really need to get a trailer. UGH
The old people are worse than the wet leaves, IMO.
Yeah, once you see the wet leaves they don't generally try to run you over!
The trick is to stick to the smaller roads that the leaf peepers don't know about. Example: instead of taking Rt 14 south from Barre, take Rt 110 (nicer road anyway). And stay away from Smuggler's Notch. Better yet, stay away from the entire Stowe area.

what's that Mark? Stay out of VT altogether?
Also this weekend is the start of Bow season, so that'll bring a healthy dose of flatlanders, that add in the leaf peepers.
Probably won't be riding much anymore this year
+1 guys...please be careful out there
or...how about getting out in the dirt?
Heading South into Stowe on 108 .
Mass plated Excursion was so worried about me on his ass on the Busa,
He scraped the right side of his ride at razors rock, laughing my leathers off, he srcreams out the windows that it is my fault as I pass him on the down side.
