    New vibration in bars

Just got a new set of Dunlop Q2's. My first set of dunlops ever... since they went on i have noticed alot of vibration in the bars that was never there before with the BT016s ive always used. The front pressure is around 36-38 and yes i have already ruled out loose head bearings etc. Anyone have any thoughts are my pressures off? Oh btw this is on the zx6 streetbike

I feel like 38 in the front is a bit much, especially if those are cold temps.

    Re: New vibration in bars

I tried some Q2's last month at NYST for a couple sessions after toasting my Michelin Bridgestone BT003. There was noticeably more road feedback (felt like more bumpy-ness/vibes) with the Q2's vs the BT003s. Nothing horrible, but I definitely did notice it. Didn't get a chance to play with pressures because it was the end of the 2nd day. Since then I've read a few similar comments online about more feedback from Q2's.

Do try to play w/ the pressures a bit. Try between 32-34*F cold.

    Re: New vibration in bars

Are you sure the vibes are even coming from the tires bud? Do they go up with speed or engine rpm? Unless it gets worse with speed its probably not the tires. Are your bar ends tight? Are there any other loose bolts? There are lots of things that you can feel in your bars when they come loose. Trust me i had an fzr lol. And yeah those tires give a tremendous amount of feedback. Maybe your just finally feeling the road surface for the first time lol.

We should have switched off last the we went out.

Lol and keena bridge stone makes the bt003 not Michelin ;p

Maybe unrelated to tires....something else loose.....check a variety of nuts and bolts for tightness....engine mounts/frame slider.....good ride despite the summer traffic.....thanks!

how much do you weigh geared up?

while 38 may be high for someone weighing 150, its not high for someone that weighs 275

I'd check balance again, maybe you lost a weight
