Ninja 250 gearing

I'm just starting to get back into racing. I just picked up a 08 ninja 250. I was wondering what gearing people are running or recommend for Loudon and for Thompson. Any help would be a great help. I'm sure I'll have a bunch more questions.

racing, or trackdays? Thompson is trackdays only. If you're actually planning to race, what those guys said.

i just got this bike pretty cheap. I haven't been on the race track or on a bike for 20 years. Looking to do some track days and get back on the race track. Bike seems nice and light. Does anyone have any idea on base line gearing they would run at either track. I have a old dinosaur EX500 that i might blow the dust off also.

Just try with the stock gearing and deal with it once you decide you don't like it. I haven't messed with the gearing on my EX250.
