VTX saddlebag bracket installation??,

Hey , I just got some OEM Honda saddlebags/brackets for my dad (03' VTX 1800R) and the box had know intallation instructions. Called honda and they said they couldn't email me them but they could fax it to the dealer I got it from.BS!!! I can;t find these instructions anywhere on the net. I talked to a couple of dealerships and got little from it. I installed the brackets and bags anyway and figured if I fudged it , I'll take em off and redo it. I thought the brackets would have been a straight forward install. but theres a bunch of different ways to mount the chrome spacers and the black ones/?????Does anyone have any pics of the brackets installed or better yet can someone throw me some info or where to look on the net ..?? THanks

Perhaps you should consider having Honda fax them to the dealer you bought it from?

Uh.. get Honda to send them to the dealer or have the dealer call and get them, if they don't already have them.

I went through this with my VFR saddlebags, no problems at all, the dealer got the instructions and gave them to me, no big deal.

I had honda fax em to me direct. The reason why I think I was having issues was because the hardware they gave me was for the backRest accessory in conjunction with the saddlebags. I mounted em 3 different ways and its as good as its gonna get. They look great but the spacers weren't the correct length in neither were the 10mm bolts. I rigged it up to work and look correct ..
