Wheel Chock

What are you people using for front wheel chocks on your trailers? I want something removeable, reasonably priced, and will not contact rotors (320mm). Also looking for a local supplier for tie down rings. I want something sturdy. They don't have to flush mount.

I got an E-Track set up in my trailer for a very resonable cost with lock in D-Rings. You can have options to reposition tie down points where ever you want!

This company used to have a wheel chock that went with the E-System, I didn't see it listed though??

I don't use any chocks in my trailer, I just have my own special way of tieing stuff down.. 5 tie downs per bike please and it's not moving

If you do get wheel chocks, make sure they are wide enough or the rail is low enough so it doesn't fuck up your rotors!

I always use my wheel chocks! I just feel better about it staying more stable. To each his own! What ever works!


Also Rye, do a search for pocket chocks! They fold down flush with the floor when you don't need them! BBZX10 Formally known as BBZX12 ( Brian has them ) He needs his screen name changed back to BBHZX12 again... (Degs/Jay/Gord/Dan)

He folds them down for hauling sleds and doesn't have to store the chocks elsewhere like I do!

Get a sportbike chock. They work great.

Use the 8 inch and put the bike in backwards. I have several that have lasted for 6 years of heavy use with no problems.

The free approach if you want something quick and easy:
Find a scrap piece of plywood that's about 2' x 2'.
Find 3 scrap pieces of 4" x 4" that are around 1' long each.
Arrange the 3 pieces of 4x4 in a "U" shape on top of the plywood. Space them appropriately for your tire size.
Screw the 4x4 into the plywood from underneath the plywood.
Attach your newly built wheel chock to your trailer using screws, bolts, set pins, or what ever clever way you want. Can be easily removed as necessary.

what kind of trailer? can you put the tire against something (wall or rail on trailer)?

i have one of these in the back of my pickup. built in chocks and tiedows its called a box bar and you can get it from parts unlimited or WPS and probably others too

I used the 4x4 method on the flat bed utility trailer we had they are high enough to hold the wheel in place but don't come near the rotors. it looks more like this l_l
I didn't screw them to plywood though I screwed them right to the trailer as I didn't need to move them. They worked well for me and as far as I know the guy that bought that trailer from me still uses that set up with out issue.


The enclosed trailer we have now has chocks that fold into the floor, they came with the trailer when we bought it used so I don't know how much they were but I would say they are not cheap.

I got a pair of BikePro chocks. They do clear the rotors.

They are not fantastic but they do get the job done.

I tried to buy the chocks made by the same folks that make
EazyRizers and he never answers his phone. You got to leave
a message but he can't call me back cause I work in a call center.
