    Wheel straightening

I have a really slight bend in the lip on my front wheel. it doesn't effect anything and you can't really see it, but i would like to get it taken care of.
Does anyone have a reputable shop in the MA / Southern NH area that they use. Also curious if having the wheel straightened effects the finish at all? thanks

Will's Rim Repair. He's in South Carolina. I'm actually shipping two wheels to him soon. He fixed my rear wheel last winter.

Or you could go to MC Wheel in NH, who charges double the rate & doesn't finish the wheel where they made the repair.

I've used MC Wheel, they're good people and straightened a rim of mine that was pretty bent. There in Swanzy (near Keane).

I had a completely different experience. First, the rims snaped back twice and i had to return. Second, on two occasions, I had the tech pull me in the back and try to get me to give him cash to do the work on the other wheels that he found defects on "off book". This was so he could pocket it and not go through the front office. The waiting area is disgusting and the work takes way longer than quoted. I will never go back to that place. After all this the rim would still not remain true and I ended up scrapping them anyways. Super shady...

About $40 for a set. I manage to fit a set of wheels in an HP computer box last time. This time, I'm using a printer box.

UPS is cheaper for larger and heavier packages such as rims. USPS is cheaper for small, light packages.

I've had great luck with MC wheel. Haven't had anything done there recently, but I've had wheels and rotors straightened there in the past with great results.

    Re: Wheel straightening

I know this is an old thread but I need info. When you send him your wheels do you have to include a paid return label or does he take care of that and add it to your bill? Does he take credit cards or Paypal? Thanks in advance.

He will add the price of return shipping in the final price and yes he takes CC's. That's what I did when I sent out my old rotors.
