Bike Week

So. I stayed with Jay and Cheryl and I can't thank them enough for their hospitality yet again - I will make it up to you two somehow once I move down there.

Went to the track on Sat and the racing was good. Good to see everyone and meet some new people. The best part was by far the "victory lap" of the motards though. David has to post up the pictures that I took with his camera cause I know I got at least one of two good ones in there - I can host them if you can't David.

Sat night was a party at Jay's and was a BLAST. Jim - still waiting for that thing you need to send me

Thanks to Bryan and Tully for being fucking pogues and bailing on us - bitches.

Sun was hot as fuck - went to the weirs but didn't take much for pics cause it was TOO FUCKIN HOT. Had a good ride home but was totally soaked by the time i got home after riding in 90+ heat in full gear.

I was up there Friday afternoon, and spaced posting here and meeting up with anyone. I'm just a noob around here anyway, so who wants to meet me.


My friend just started racing this season on a CB1 and from what he told me low sided in the bowl during practice. Broke his collar bone in two places.

I showed up, made a few laps around the infield looking for him and found him waving with his one good arm from the middle of the road, never did get to see him race.

I'll have to come up next race weekend and spend some more time up there. Had a great time just hanging out and watching (although it's already going to cost me some $$ because a TTD went from somting I wanted do "someday", to something I have to do )

When you first roll into the infield, right in front you will be the NESR crew. First section on the left in the center. You'll see someone with something NESR, a shirt, a hat, some stickers on their bike and just say hello. When you first rolled in and saw the yellow bus on the left - that was Oxx. Across from him was the rest of the crew. Just walk up to whoever you see with someting NESR and say Hello.

I swore that I got some pics of you but now that I know your number let me double check. A bunch of race 1a came out blurry cause I am still working on figuring out the best settings for "sports". I tried the sports setting figuring that was the best - nope. I'll play some more so I can figure it out for next tiem.

I must have just missed some of you guys up there at the track. I was sitting right in the same area some of those pictures were taken (the bowl? Still learning Loudon) Even had a NESR T shirt on.

I knew I shoulda gotten the infield pass...

My highlight from bike week was taking my little nephew (10) for his first ride on the back of a sport bike. His parents both have cruisers. The first stop light we pull up to - the car next to us the little girl in the back seat is waving and smiling at my nephew... I think he's hooked...
