Track Bike Help

So Ive been sort of keeping my eyes open for a decent track bike (not for racing, just track use) and Ive found a bike which may fit the bill ('96 YZF 600). Its located in Everett about 10-15 min from Boston. Im wondering if someone in the know might be willing to go check it out with me. I guess it may be a piece of crap...but I hope not.
