    Winter Trailer Storage??

So it looks like my trailer will stay outside for the winter.

One of the places I may keep it is advertising "shrink wrap".

Is this for trailers or just boats. Seems like a good idea??

If it does sit outside what should I do to it to try and keep it in good condition?

    Thanks.

I have never seen a trailer shrink-wrapped, just boats but I wouldn't say it's not possible. What type of trailer is it?

I have seen people shrink wrap trailers before. It won't help you out much if they don't make frame for the roof to shed snow. Snow is your biggest problem. They trailer I bought this year I got cheap because the guy never shoveled the roof off and it clasped. To store mine this winter I am going to run a couple of 2x6's on the roof and then put a couple put saw horses on them for an A frame and tarp it. That should keep the snow from building up on it this time.

    by blocks you mean?

I was thinking of getting some jackstands and just getting the trailer off the ground.

The sawhorse idea makes sense to me as well.

    Re: Winter Trailer Storage??

I will likely cover it with a tarp with a sawhorse in it (mine is an open trailer) and maybe get it off the ground just to try and keep the wood deck from rotting and the metal from rusting.

My trailer cost 300 bucks though, so it is likely not as shiny and pretty as all of yours.

I'll use it all winter for you so it doesn't need to be winterized.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I might move into mine. Save some money and get some slicks. You guys need to get your priorities straightened out.
