    Train to Fenway?

Heading up to Fenway tomorrow night....coming from North/Central CT (Manchester I84-I90). I remember taking the 'T' to Fenway, but I was a little intoxicated to remember the details. can anyone help me out? What train, what station I should park at and what station to I ride the train to? Or, is there a super secret parking garage I should drive to? I don't mind paying for event parking if it means I get in and out, but not for sitting for 2 hours while the lot clears.....Thanks!

Edit - sorry, this should've been in off topic...also, I'm driving my cage, not my bike...

    Re: Train to Fenway?

Once you get to Boston, take any greenline train, except the E, to Kenmore. Or you can take the d-train to Fenway, but don't do this as all the people that do make my commute home from work horrific. Also, it doesn't bring you any closer to Fenway park and its one additional train stop past Kenmore. People just see the stop titled "Fenway" and think its closer.

You probably want to park at Riverside and take the D line to kenmore. As Jay mentioned, the fenway stop is not actually closer to the park gates.

I walk from the South End. It's only a couple of miles.

    Re: Train to Fenway?

It's usually between $35-$40 to park right near the ballpark. Getting out can take a few minutes, but it's usually still quicker than taking the T from Fenway or Kenmore as about ten thousand other people are trying to get on the same trains.

It's maybe a 6-7 minute walk from Kenmore to the ballpark.
