    Women's Gear Selection

Who's got the best selection around? Say... From Boston to Providence?

Dunbar EuroSports had an excellent clothing selection and the women there were very knowledgeable. My wife is woman's medium so kind of easy.

Twisted Throttle has their Open House this saturday.

Vanson is way out of my budget. The girlfriend has never been on a bike before and in the event she hates it, I'm not looking to be out a small fortune.

Safety on a budget is the goal tomorrow.

Vanson has a closeout section with very reasonable prices and they have textile street gear. Whether they would have anything to fit her is another question.

Is there anyone you know whose gear she can try on? Once I knew my wife's sizes, we bought some once-worn gear on eBay for 50 cents on the dollar, or less. She got a Tourmaster textile jacket with liner and matching pants. Sidi boots we bought new.

Also, Revzilla has closeouts and very friendly return policies.

Good to know, I may have to go there first, then.

I'm not really worried about sizing, she's probably a medium in everything. We had hoped to go out this weekend which was the motivation for brick and mortar over online.

Are you going to the Twisted Throttle Open House? I've never been, supposed to be excellent.

Yeah, the plan is to hit Vanson on the way to Horse Neck for a couple of hours, then take the long way home and hit the open house.

Registration is free and the site says it'll get you in-store discounts and free food, so...

Vanson woman's textile. I've bought closeouts there for much less: think I paid $90 for a Vent Max.

Nice! I'll have to curb my impulse buying on here and go over there once in a while.

Twisted Throttle is advertising up to 70% off close out clothing, including some women's jackets, pants and gloves.

    Re: Women's Gear Selection

We just left Twisted Throttle, the in-store selection was pretty small. Helmets were a choice between an HJC FG17 and $700 Schuberths.

The online choices are much better but staff told me customer pickup wasn't an option for online purchases.

If you take the online approach make sure you look here. I've bought a lot of things from these folks, as has my girlfriend. Easy returns and good prices.
