    Woodcraft Hand Guards and Securing

So originally I was going to get a canyon dancer system to secure my bike in the trailer. Now that I will be getting Woodcraft hand guards those will not work. What other ways could I secure the bike without risking damage to body work?

I use the figure 8 Web straps and then regular ratchet straps. The figure 8 web straps go around the triple tree, fork tube or handle bars depending on your bike/setup

Just went out and checked. Bottom triple works good with the angle of the hooks on the floor. Thanks Pete!

seriously, once you use one once, you will never want to deal with tie downs again

We might be trailer shopping in January, if the money is there for it.

are they so difficult that you couldn't just take them off and use the canyon dancer? (obviously the pit bull is the ideal route but just out of curiosity)

Huge worth every penny in time and effort

I know you said the triples will work, but for others reading for ideas, I've used soft tie extensions off the grips instead of a canyon dancer...works great

I had used those just to get the bike home. I just don't like putting something like that around the throttle.

Is it just me or do those look like they are going to do more harm than good. Yes they will stop the infrequent hit of the brake but I think there will be more instances of hooking other bikes. Also I see those hooking a rider and dragging them close to the bike in a crash..

Its hands down the best money I've ever spent on anything bike related. I just need to buy the dirt bike version so I don't have to deal with straps at all!
