This weekend is the season finale of the AMA Superbike series and this lousy excuse for a Motorsports Channel is NOT going to carry ANY of the races live. In fact, I cannot even tell from their website, WHEN they intend to show any of it!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
Thanks alot, Speed Channell!!!!!![]()

Just saw this on the WERA list.

SPEED TV won't show coverage of this coming weekend's AMA finale at VIR until October 19-20.
Instead of showing the October 8-10 AMA races, SPEED will repeat coverage of World Superbike races on Two-Wheel Tuesday, October 12.
SPEED TV you guys are FUCKTARDS![]()

At least they're honest now, and just call it Nascar TV.![]()

Yeah, I'm so fed up with that channel. Is there anything else that has good coverage of two-wheel racing?
Two-wheel tuesday's turned into junk too; a bunch of fat goofballs carrying on about chrome and style. Not that I have anything against customs..they have their place...but the racing has been seriously abandoned.
If I see another special on that stupid turbine bike I'm gonna shoot the TV.
That'll sure teach 'em, eh?![]()

From what I understand, Speed Channel has the exclusive broadcast rights to all professional roadracing in the USA. So, we have to rely on these assclowns for coverage. But, they don't seem too interested in catering to their motorcycle viewers.
On a positive note, they will broadcast the MotoGP on Sunday starting @ 4 with the 250s and the big bikes @ 5.

We get speed channel on campus supposedly. Only it's also the "Women's Entertainment" channel. I was thinking "well, I'm sure for big race events they switch to Speed but during the day it's women's shows".
I guess my idea of "Big race events" (aka MotoGP) is different than theirs as I invited a bunch of people over, had beer and munchies all setup only to flick on the TV to some stupid soap opera shit![]()
Too bad you missed MotoGP, craig. That coverage, in particular, is usually pretty damn good. The on-board camera shots are amazing!!!! I especially liked the camera that they had on Loris Capirossi's Ducati. You could see just how deep into the corner these guys are on the front brakes, nearly to the point that the brake lever is srcaping the ground. And, he was sliding the rear all over the place on corner entry. These guys do things on a bike that just should not be possible. I have the greatest repect for all of the MotoGP racers.
