I thought the moto manufacturers figured out that down pipes on a dirtbike were a horrible idea 1974ish
Ktm and Honda are still doing it too...just to make the first two companies off the top of my head.

Its strange that the front to back fuel flow design hasnt been perfected. Seems to check a lot of boxes for logic, including this one...no up OR down pipe past the engine and rider

Yamaha still has the "backwards" head 450, if that's what we are talking about. IIRC even the 2018 has the exhaust wrap ALL THE WAY around the head with the intake up front.
Not sure how that treatment would work on a street going twin..

Looks like the KTM 790 Adventure concept is trying to directly compete with the Tenere concept, right down to release timeframe.

This latest rendering is pretty awful looking, has a gallon less fuel than its orange counterpart, and will be at least a year behind its release.

If money were no issue (cuz I just buy what I get a deal on, ride, resell) want a street bike that I can go offroad...I just don't want V-strom 60hp on a 430lb package and ground clearance that gets me jammed up.
