So this past Sunday I encountered a Niken GT .
Sitting at a 4 way intersection waiting for the light to change , a Niken came from my left turning left at the intersection and the rider went down for no apparent reason except for tire grip .
The young man was riding at a very reasonable speed but down he went anyways.
I turned around and helped him up of course .
Never seen this bike before and the internet says not available in North America .

I remember reading about them a couple years back, but didn't pay much attention cause they weren't gonna be sold here. At the time, my GF was looking for a Piaggio 3 wheeler. fwiw, Kymco just came out with their 3 wheeler, a few have already hit the streets in North America

Ken Condon did a review on one at a track day a year or two ago. I think he said it was uncrashable
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
A gentleman from down South, I believe Georgia, has come and ridden one at more than one of the Tony's Track Days Non-Sportbike days. He rides it up to New England, does the track day and then rides it home.
I think he stays over during the trip just so nobody thinks he rides it up and then back immediately surrounding the track day LOL

I am just a little curious as to how someone crashed one.

There’s a guy in the New England Riders Facebook group who owns one, this is probably the one Ken rode
I was checking them out at Mom's (Manchester) a couple years ago. Bizarre, definitely bizarre. I don't think they're available in the USA anymore, not sure if they're still selling them oversees...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
My understanding is they are essentially an MT-09/XSR 900/Tracer 900 with an extra wheel up front. I think they only sold for a few years (2018-19?). I would still love to try one but couldn't see adding one to the stable.
saw one for sale on facebook market place and was immediately considering making a horrible financial decision.
