A lot of people will jump to conclusions and say a 250 is too small for the street, in which case I send you to this link

From what I have Heard Its a Great bike. Very close to performance to The DRZ400SM(stock) I have not heard anybody on the Motards boards really say anything bad it. Fast enough Low maintence ect.
10000 times cooler then a Ninja 250/500

Hey John, I have the WR-250R, which is similar except the tires and a couple of other things. The bike works great. I take it to work and beat the crap out of the motor and it doesn't hesistate or give me any problems. I ride the thing wide open most of the time on the highway because its not the most powerful motor in the world, and am getting about 75MPG on it.
From my perspective, I give the bike a thumbs up.

If anyone has a WR250X and is willing to let me take it for a spin, you're welcome to try my FZ1...
i bringing mine up to Loudon this weekend to ride around on. Picked it up yesterday from a friend who needed money in a pinch. Im use to bigger bikes so it feels a bit gutless, however it does put a grin on your face.
Your welcome to take it for a spin, ill be there wed-sun in garage 9.
