Tomorrow, i take delivery of a 2004 Yamaha YFZ450 It's a new MX race ready quad with the same basic motor as the Yamaha YZ450 MX bike. This is the "R7" of quads , it's small in size, very light, and has the highest power to weight ratio of any quad in production to this day. Not to mention the trick suspension on it combined with a low center of gravity should make it handle the sand pits and trails rather nicely...
White with red graphics is the color i'm getting.

Sounds exactly like a stock WR426 but once i get my hands on a pipe, that'll change
A slip-on, a few airbox mods and some jetting should get it in the 50hp range

Yes, the 450 was a sweet purchase
I went riding with some friends after work today. and i'm still so impressed with this thing. Most stable quad i've ever had, most wheelie happy, most powerfull, best suspended, and best looking. Hell, i may even keep it for a full year, who knows!!!!
