Hey Dan...rememeber those tires I got from you? I never thought that I would have ever been able to scrub off all the rubber that you had on the sides and I never thought that I was going to be able to make my own scrubbed up rubber on the sides....guess what......I did
I went down to Route 17 the other day (fri I think) with the intention of going slower than usual and just working on form and lines. Now I know I have no form so I thought that I would be better off working on lines.... So I start and there is no traffic other than a few bikers (bicycles) going up and a couple of cars at the stop at the top. It was pretty warm out that day (mid 80's) and pretty humid. I ripped a bit on the way down so the tires were nice and sticky. I made a pass up the east side, to the stopping area and back down and then did it again. I ended up taking about the same speed as I usually do without tryig half as hard because I was taking the right lines. SOOOOOOO much smoother...
I get home and look at the tires and I was amazed at how they looked. Here's a shot of the back....
