    is the zx7 the same thing as the zx7r??

    I am looking to buy an exhaust for my 1997 zx7r and I was told by someone that they had one from a 96-03 zx7, I dont want to buy it and not be able to use it, so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

    MS is right. Lots of folks refer to the 96+ ZX7R as a ZX7. One and the same though.
