11/11/09 Veterans Day Supermoto ride

Wednesday 11/11/09, who else has it off?

Weather permitting, I'll lead a supermoto ride leaving my house.
I've got a good mix of smooth paved, bumpy paved, and dirt roads to create a nice loop. I can even mix in some trails if whoever joins is up to it.
Thinking a 10am start time as I'm sure the mornings will be cool. You'll need to leave my place with a FULL tank of fuel as the first gas stop is about 45 miles away. Depending how the day goes, we could get in 100-120 miles
It'll be far from a blistering pace.

Plenty of parking for anyone that trucks their bike.

sounds good, I'm working on getting my new tires so I should be all set for the dirt roads. Depending on time & conditions I've got some good paved roads along the CT border we can add in as well. Maybe take a break in the middle for an end of season Vanilla Bean lunch

I'm not going to SM the WR until spring, needs a few minor parts and I'm tight on cash. Plus it still may not be 100% legal by then

I'm out, something came up at work, so I took today off instead. Wasn't able to get my tires installed yet either, they're going on Thur, so the dirt roads would have been a no go for me anyway.

Maybe we can get a ride in Sunday, looks like it should be high 50's and sunny

Now I have heard them all , not wanting to ride dirt because the bike has met its monthly quota of being dirty .


What about hatfield , the YZ was dirty everyday for a week .

Not quite a week, it was 6 days ....and in another 4 months, I can ride the YZ again


No riding for me at all today I ended up working around the house all day and made some progress on a project i started about 3 months ago. If all goes well at the rate I'm going, this project should be complete sometime in 2013
