reviving an older thread. set this up before I realized it was Mother's Day, but several folk still showed an interest: Josh/Rach, beet, Matt K, SV1KScott.
Not looking to set any speed or endurance records-- prolly no more than a coupla hundred miles (at most) at a relaxed pace... anyone who wants to play is welcome ('specially if you know any good routes starting from MM).
who's in?

Since my accident, I've refrained from riding on Mother's Day. But I got the 'okay, clear' from Cheryl last night to go ahead if I wanted to go riding...
I'm seriously thinking of breaking the chains of NOT riding on that day. If that's the case, I'd be happy to show ya'll some southern/western NH roads. I don't ride 'em much anymore, so there's a chance we'd end up doing some circles while I try to remember my way...![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
if its nice i might go 2 the bean get ther round 130-2

I'm in if the weather is ok. I have a pocket full of roads we can do that are nice. I couldn't bring ya down em last night cuz we didn' have nuff time. Lemme know if it's a go.
Post time too ta meet at MM.

OK, here's the tentative game plan: meet up at MM @ 10:30, hammer out a route, take some tasty twisties at a relaxed pace, stop somewhere for lunch, log some more miles... break off and head back where we came from.
time can be shifted, if necessary...
"2-up friendly" just refers to the pace (and more frequent stops) that having a pillion dictates... anyone is welcome to join us.
won't be on the board much today (I have, uh, other activities slated for today), but will check in tonite/tomorrow AM to see if anyone else chimes in... so we can be on the lookout for ya.![]()

"fuckit!"
Where/what is MM?
1: MM=motomarket, it's a kinda swanky motorcycle gear shop in acton, or rt. 2a, the metro-west crew and others in the general area use it as a meeting point for a lot og rides. If you need directions from somewhere, we can probably hook you up.
2: I MIGHT be able to come on this thing, but I'm probably going up to NH tonight and gonna spend tomorrow there. I dunno though. I'll let you guys know if it turns out I can come.![]()

nice to meet the infamous SoCal Skeetcher, as well...
after all the comings and goings, we ended up w/ 5 folk on 3 bikes. didn't discover any new, super-secret routes... but had a grand ole time violating the NH border
hope y'all enjoyed it as much as Pratiti and I did, and we'll definitely hook up again![]()

Hard to avoid the water. I thought that if I didn't drink the water I'd be fine. Well let's see the ice, the coffee is from the same water, doh! Just enjoy your time there.Originally posted by beet
