Yeah, it's cold. Anyone up for a full day ride. I suggest western, ma, but I'm open for other suggestions.

Let's meet at MM at 10:00 am. Please be gassed up and ready to go. In addition, if anyone want to meet at the Fresh Pond Mall (near alewife) I'll be there at 9:30.

We can stop further on to pick up others.

So far it looks like: 2; cut over to 116; 116; 8a;100; 9; 119...back home.

about 300 miles round trip from boston.

This ride is to find the twisties and should have a good pace. Everyone is invited. If you are new just meet us at mm (or meet me at fresh pond).

Looks like some of you guys are in the boston area. How about meeting at the Fresh Pond Mall (near alewife) and we can jump on rt. 2 from there. (As an alternative, we could meet just off the exit at the intersection of 2A and 495. There is gas and Dunkin's there (I think). This is just up the street from MM).

We can stop further on to pick up others.

I'm open to suggestions, but let's get the plans set by noon on Friday.

Dude, we got it, you are into stunts. I'm new here (I do not speak for anyone else), but I don't think it takes that much time to see what everyone here is into. A wheelie is not going to impress people. If you are trying to prove you can ride, you should not be here.

I say let him ride the way he wants to. If he rides a way people dont like Id say the chances are he will find himself ridding with less and less people.

I figure theres a reason people call me back to come riding and its because I ride in a way that they agree with. And the same goes for the people Im with. I ride with them because they fit my riding style. It might look kind of funny watch me and Kurt (04ZRX) riding down the street together but Id say every time we had fun. Not too fast and not too slow. Its hard to describe but im sure you know what I mean.

As for riding this Saturday...Im pretty sure Ill be stuck working.

I cant speak for everyone but Im not against stunting. If thats what gets you going then have a blast. I just know if youre riding with me and I feel like youre attracting too much unwanted attention by doing stuff such as wheelies or I feel youre endangering the other people youre riding with it will be the last time you will be invited to come along with me.

Everything has a place and time and practicing stunts on public roads where you can potentially hurt others is what I consider the wrong place and wrong time. If you want to stunt in an empty parkinglot then go for. Hell I might even come down and watch for a few minutes.

Hey bud, I dont know about anyone else but any one of these two meeting places sound good to me. I prefer the Fresh Pond Mall but, like i said anyone of them will do. 10:00 no problem.

Im sure things will change on this a few times,...meeting place, time, so ill be flexibale on any of this.

I'ld do wheelies every once and a while if I could....but the thought of dumping my bike tends to linger over my head.

To be honest I dont think I ride like some ppl on here (I like to go a lil faster than most). However I change my style when I ride with ppl on NESR (somewhat *evil grin*) because I enjoy the group rides here. So when I am up for faster/"lively" pace rides, I am more comfortable w/ my r6 crew.

Guess there is a time and a group for different kinds of riding.

Maybe I should let Billy explain this one since he brought it up but what he is referring to is a ride we went on with some people that he knew. We went up, turned around, and went back down this one road and apparently someone called the cops. We weren't going too fast or anything but when you have a group of 7-8 bikes it tends to draw attention. Anyways we were riding along when we passed a cop going the other direction. None of us could see it but he pulled a U-turn and started following us as he was reponding to the complaint. We were all just following the leader (one of Bill's friends) who just happened to turn onto the wrong road which lead to a school parking lot. We then turned around in the parking lot and started to head for the exit when all of a sudden the cop appreared in front of us and blocked the road with his car sideways. So we all stopped and took off our helmets and he was really cool about it. He could have busted two of us for expired inspection stickers but he didn't. We just pretended like we were lost and he told us how to get to the highway.

I know Bill and myself would never run from the cops. Without knowing what really happend it kinda sounds like we ran but we didn't.

That being said I'd ride with Kurt, Terry, James, Billy, Manny and a ton of other people from this site anytime.
