There was last night.........the age thing was a problem though.....especially when they giggle.

I was around town on the RC friday from like 4-8. Had some potato skins and a beer at funkys for dinner. Saw some of the bike stunt. Its okay but gets old after the 11tybillionth wheelie. One guy ate it, but I didnt see, I was walking somewhere else and I heard the announcer talking about it. Sounds like I missed the craziness by leaving at 8. I was bored and felt I saw all there was to see.

+1 on that...this asshole has totally sold out the car show...he's turned it into a circus side-show... I understand it's about making money but it is , after all , based on C A R S , prefferably 1975 and under...

Too fucking many F-350's , ricers , pick-up trucks and anything else you can see in a showroom today...vendors selling dresses , sunglasses , jerky , mailboxes...What The Fuck !

I was there on Sat from like 11am to 6:30pm. We had lunch at Uno's around the corner from the Crown Royal Hotel around 12. The area was a ghost town at that time. We headed over to the park around 1pm and watched the burnouts.

We hung out there for a couple hours and then we back to downtown. At that time, downtown was insane. We ended up leaving around 6pm.

Overall I thought the event was ok. If I got nothing going on next year around that time I might go.

to really get the crazyness of the summer nats you gotta go down later in the night. things are relatively dead untill 8-9pm

ok after the long weekend here are my thoughts.

1. the owner has gone to the crappy side of things (like most do) and gone way to commercial. as in wtf do 4 guys walking around wearing 10' tall cell phone ads have to do with muscle cars?

2. whats with all the rice? i thought this was a muscle car show. even a friend came down from "manchvegas" with other fiends in riced out civics

3. i would like to kill the jerks who were shooting fire works into the new WPI building (on prescott st.) last year as it was under construction. now this year cops were patrolling prescot st. so nun of the normal smoke show/hooliganism could go on there like it has for YEARS with out a problem

but what the hell i love the sight sound and smell of muscle cars tearing up the streets of my home town, if only for one weekend a year
