Posting for Hurricane Mountain says "THIS RIDE LEAVES ON SATURDAY!!!", however June 12th is a Sunday. Is this a 2-day ride?

I have never been on any Seacoast rides but there is always a first time. my new bike is sitting at Seacoast right now and it's driving me crazy that I can't ride it yet.................... I have motorcycle withdrawals

Couple days ago it was looking like we'd be riding soon! (At least it looked like the glacier that is my driveway might sucumb to local warming...) But the last couple days have brought back the cold with a vengence..!

I missed all the rides last year
Weren't you on part of last years opener?
Who me? No. Went on Ray-Ray's opener ride, a Ducati's Mt. Washington run introduced by Junior, and day before Easter a western mass twisties ride (which I had to peel off early before even hitting the good part :/ because day was getting late and I still had shopping and cleaning to do for Easter company). Drewski took bike rest of time and I crashed it August.
Well hopefully we'll see ya out there more this year.
Opening Seacoast Ride one week from today!
Leaving from Seacoast Sport Cycle, Derry NYH on Saturday, April 30th. Stands up at 10:00 sharp! Be early, fueled up and weaing appropriate gear! (Helmet, Jacket, Gloves, appropriate footwear, and at least jeans!)

I went for a ride last month with a guy that was wearing these pretty cool riding shoes from Merrell. I was thinking of picking up a pair for the ride. Would they qualify as appropriate gear?
