Thanks for the ride guys. I had a great time. The weather turned out awesome. Dry roads at ride time.

Joe, I made it home ok. For the 4 of you who didn't know. My right rear wheel bearing decided to expire as I got off of 295N at 146N. I babied it the 6 miles home from that point.

When I got it up on the stand at home, it was apparent that it was the right rear bearing.

Damnit, I just got the thing back from Peter's.

What you heard was the tire hitting the inside of the swingarm. No damage done to the wheel, the tire, or the swingarm. I'm going to have Peter replace all bearings in both wheels, just to be safe. I don't know if there is any damage to the axle or the dust shields. I'll leave that up to Peter to find out.

Now all I need is a few guys to lift it into a truck to get it over to GMD.

Hey chuck sorry to hear about the baby. Hope you guys had a good ride today. I had to go car hunting for my girl the entire weekend. Her car shit the bed Thursday night. Who knew buying a car would be such a pain in the ass. Anyway I'll see you guys on the next one I'm sure. I'll take my position at the end of the pussy line now.

Chuck i have to take off the next two days so I'll be around. If you need someone to help you get your bike to Pete's let me know. We'll just toss it on my truck i have tie downs and a ramp it shouldn't take to long getting it over there.

Gotta love how I dont go on the ride but I still make it for the photo ops

Chuck stop being a pansy about working on your bike and drop the wheels off yourself and then bring them in for us to replace the bearings. It will be a lot easier for you without having to find someone to help pick that thing up into the truck.

Like I said, I'll do easy stuff that doesn't effect the bike's operation too much. I have no idea how to realign a wheel once it's off. Not to mention I'd be apprehensive about riding a bike that I've removed and remounted a wheel on.

I'll leave it to the pros.

If you thought that was loud, you should've heard what it was sounding like as I rolled into my driveway.

Like I'm made of money. I hope this is the last of the big things this season. With the price of gas going up, I might not be able to afford to ride if I keep having to dish out a couple hundred bucks every month on repairs.

Chuck, get a service manual for your bike. It explains everything with pictures. Maybe you'll start working more on your bike. And that's a good thing to get more familiar with it, see how the stuff works...C'mmon, you did the turn signals right? Removing rear wheel and changing bearings is just as easy. You can do it
