App Gap, T Road ride 8/12/08

So I guess its about that time again. I gots another tuesday off and I wanna tear it up.

Same damn time, same damn place, weather permitting.

Meeting 0815 in Williston

0845 Hinesburg

yadda yadda yadda.

Tweaking the route this time and not allowing BB-675-VT to go with us. I ordered him to work because he's bad luck. Last two rides he brought us rain and a frost heave.

Route will be down and across to NY to hit up T Road and EP Road. Then instead of slabbin it up to plattsburgh or 9n, we'll cross back over, hit up VT rt. 17 and do lunch at Eagin's at the intersection of 17 and 100. They have some good food, wood fired brick oven and prices are decent. Puts most of us closer to home to prepare for bike night.

If I can meet you at the place by the bridge and the weather doesn't suck (and/or wash away any of the relevant roads before then), I'm in. If the weather's actually good, I'll even pack the camera.

I just got back from a paid vacation!!!!
...and I follow other peoples bad examples all too often. So every month I try to be responsible, respectful, and full-fill my duties to the best of my ability. Tuesday will hopefully be that day!

I have to work till 0330 that morning but that's never stopped me before. So long as the weather looks hopeful I don't see why I wouldn't be up for this. It'd be nice to have someone to ride up there with!

I'm not ready to give up yet, but if the radar tomorrow morning looks like it does right now...yeah, that'll be it for me. Hoping for the best, though, and I trust the weather guessers about as far as I can throw them.

I'll solve the problem for all of you. Blame it on highsider.

Due to unforseen circumstance, I will not be able to make the ride tomorrow either. The was a big SNAFU today and I subsequently have to work tomorrow morning and I won't be back in the Burlington area until about 1300 hours. You all can still go on without me though.

However, because of the turn of events, Nashua Matt and I are supposed to meet at the intersection of Rt 17 and Rt 100 on Wednesday, at about 1130 hours.

the last two times I rode to NY in hopes of hitting t******* rd we got drenched and never made it to said road. really makes me mad.

think I'll go home and blow off some aersol cans, and get a bonfire of used tires and plastic cranking and just for the fun of it, shoot a bunch of old cans (CFC and HCFC) of freon. might as well screw the world up the rest of the way so we get rain all day everyday. and hot, love the hot. kinda pissy if ya can't tell. weather is BS lately
